TRENDS FOR WRIGLEY
The in-house Innovation team at Wrigley came to us with an exciting challenge – how could they create a digital platform that would raise their profile among their colleagues at Mars worldwide?
Our answer was to showcase their role as innovators and inspirational thinkers by building a new inspiration platform that would appear on the internal Mars website. A simple yet engaging system that could be continually updated to highlight new consumer trends and insights. By sharing fresh, relevant content, we created a real talking point, giving the Wrigley Innovation team clear and ever-growing exposure among their peers.
The platform also included an upload section that encouraged Mars employees to contribute their own inspiring ideas, making the role of ‘innovation’ easily accessible to the whole company.
Deciding that the visuals and examples should take centre stage, a board of inspiration greets you as you enter. We came up with an easy method of sorting and searching for these using a filter located on the home page. It’s even colour-coded by trend so users can get the information they want as quickly and as easily as possible.
We used the digital power of connectivity and adaptability to give the Wrigley Innovation team an interactive presence that is continually refreshed. Colleagues visit the platform for new ideas and leave with the knowledge that Wrigley really knows what’s new.
